Dear Sirs,
With reference to the 20th Carp Fishing World Championship, planned to
be held in Serbia, Zava Lake, from 3 to 6 October 2018, we inform you
that the organizers have informed us that the concerned lake can be very
busy of people from June 15 until September 15 for the people going
there for swimming and sunbathing (at the “beach” - it is a sort of
Serbian sea), and it is quite impossible to fish for the crowd.
However, there is a place for practicing, in the first part of the lake
(close to the gaysers). There are no swimmers there and the venue is of
about 500 metres. For that reason, it would be good that all nations
that are interested in practicing there contact the organizers, so that
they can ‘’save a place’’ for them.
The Serbian Federation is organizing an Open Carp Fishing International
Championship, on the same venue, from 13 to 16 September. The program is
not complete yet, as soon as it is ready, it will be sent to all
Nations. National Championships will be also held in March and April in
that venue.
For any question, the organizers invite you to directly contact them:
office@ribolovci.org.rs
Best regards.
